Everything you ever wanted to know about cardmaking but were afraid to ask

Greeting cards is the topic for today's post. I love doing it and I also loved to sharing it in this blog. The card I made and posting right now is for any occasion, I can use it for spring greeting or just to say "HI" or thank you.

This is one of many cards I made recently. I love papercrafts, making my own greeting cards is one of it. I will be talking about these and other crafts from time to time, in addition to my favourite recipes. Thus the title of this blog. I like cooking and papercrafts & scrapbooking equally!. I am trying to make either scrapbooking page or cards as much as I could. When my daughter already in bed I just can't wait to go to the den and start my night activity. I have to choose which one I would like to do that night either scrapbooking page or greeting cards or Japanese paper doll or paper tole or taking care my stamps. It is difficult because I love doing all of them, most of the time I always make either scrapbooking page or greeting cards. One of these days I have to start again making my Japanese paper doll and organize my stamps collection.

Many people asking me why I make my own cards, why trouble myself of doing it, why don't I go to the store and buy it instead of making it.
Well the answer for all those questions are below :
  1. More personal.
  2. Allow your inner creativity to come out.
  3. Unique - one of a kind, can't find it anywhere else
  4. Less expensive.
  5. Satisfaction from sending someone special a small part of yourself.
  6. Write the greeting you want rather than trying to say it with another person's words
